Every year about this time, I start getting really excited….Why, well because every spring there is a wonderful opportunity for Church / Ministry IT professionals to gather and share at the National Church IT RoundTable. What is a RoundTable? Well it’s a table cut in a “round” shape. Seriously, it is an awesome time where we all get together and talk Tech, Ministry, Life, and how all of that collides together. I still remember the first round table I went to, and I haven’t missed one since, and I won’t be missing this one.
This year, we are being hosted by Watermark Church in Dallas Texas! Everything gets started with an optional day of training or ChMs breakouts on April 18th, with the full roundtable taking place Thursday and Friday. This event is SUPER cheap. It’s $75.00 for all three days (no discount if you skip a day). You of course have to pay for travel / lodging, but there will be opportunities to save if you choose to bunk with some folks.

This year we are doing some breakouts specifically geared towards developers! This will be a great opportunity for those who are doing web development, API work against Church Management Systems, custom application development, social network integration, and anything else involving development work in the Ministry setting. This area of technology is changing rapidly and I personally can’t wait to be involved in these discussions. Bring ideas, bring questions…
